Legal Contracts are typically sent out once you have agreed upon deliverables for content creation with a brand. These are essential to ensure you have a record of all transactions & have a legal enforceable agreement. Without one brands can ghost you, steal your ideas, use your work without paying you, sue you for damages, & you will have no defense in court. Sometimes brands will send over a contract of their own, but keep in mind they have their best interest at heart &. typically do not protect you as a creator, AT ALL. It's important to stay safe & legally protected to ensure you are fairly compensated for your work.
